Your child deserves compassionate, proven behavioral care, and that means you do too. Maxim Behavioral recognizes a parent’s essential role in facilitating lifelong success for your child, and we’re here to support you in your journey. We’re constantly updating our library with clinician-approved and fully vetted support tools for parents of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In addition to scheduled 1:1 and supervisory visits, our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) will also work with you to schedule specific family collaboration and guidance sessions. Family guidance will help to generalize skills and behavior support plans and address goals or concerns that occur outside of scheduled sessions.

Screening and prediagnosis

For parents and families, identifying autism spectrum disorder can be difficult given the wide range of the disorder and the many ways it can present itself.

What is ABA therapy?

We believe every child deserves to be recognized for their individuality and championed in a way that empowers lifelong confidence. Applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy aims to see every child as who they are, using the principles of behavior to teach and improve life skills and reduce or eliminate challenging behaviors. Scientific and evidence-based ABA is also highly personal, focusing on behaviors we can see and record, then using positive reinforcement to encourage positive behavior change.
